VIP Design Intensive

Hire me for a full, non-interrupted day to start working through your long to-do list of website design updates, tech bugs, digital design collateral, and SEO/digital marketing tasks. Rather than scratching these tasks off your list over weeks, months, or even years (dare I say), we’ll get it all done within a day so that you continue focusing on what matters most. You’ll also receive training along the way so that you feel empowered to maintain some of these elements yourself in the future.

So what can we tackle during our time together?

  • Tackle a punch list of general design or content updates you need to be done on your website

  • Clean up the overall look and feel of your Squarespace website

  • Improve the user experience of your website.

  • Design a beautiful opt-in offer PDF and set up an email marketing system to deliver that opt-in offer so you can start building your list

  • Create a killer landing page for your course or other offerings

  • Get you set up on the full suite of Google platforms like Google My Business, Google Analytics, and Google Search console so you can start improving your SEO and see where your traffic is coming from

 

The Proven Process

What to expect pre, during, and post Design Intensive

  • Step 1

    Book Your Intensive

    You’ll be able to view my calendar and book the day that works best for you. Choose a day where you can be readily available to provide the necessary feedback. Your slot will be confirmed upon payment.

  • Step 2

    Strategy Call

    Upon receiving your payment, I’ll reach out with a welcome email that will then allow you to schedule your 60-minute strategy call. We will prioritize your items and I’ll provide realistic expectations of what should be able to get completed in a day.

  • Step 3

    Content Prep

    You’ll be responsible for collecting any needed content in the form of images and copy. This will need to be ready to go by the start date. Not only will you receive helpful guides and workbooks to make this step as easy as possible, but you’ll also get an additional hour of my time to help you get organized.

  • Step 4

    Design Intensive

    Now for the fun part! Depending on the package you choose, I’ll spend 7-8 hours working through your list of priorities. You and I will be in communication throughout the day via an instant messenger so that questions and feedback are promptly dealt with.

  • Step 5

    Support

    You’ll receive 30 days of complimentary email support. I’ll answer any questions you might have related to the work that was accomplished during our time together.

  • Step 6

    Book Again

    If there were additional items that came up during our time together, you can also choose to book another day. I love developing long term relationships with all my clients and would be thrilled to work with you again.

I have been doing graphic design, website design, and digital marketing related work since 2010, working as part of an in-house marketing team and then in 2017, as a full-time freelancer. During this time, I’ve developed a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of how to create user-friendly websites, and have been able to find a balance between quality and speed.

Please note - you are not purchasing completed deliverables, but a block of hours. My experience allows me to work quickly and efficiently, however, there is no guarantee that we will be able to complete all of your items in the time allotted. During our strategy call, we will prioritize your items and I’ll provide realistic expectations of what should be able to get completed. Your responsiveness during the day also plays a big role in the amount of work that can be done, which is why you need to be available during our time together to provide timely feedback. If you need to book another day or half day to complete other tasks then that is an option too.

If you are in a different time zone and the timeframe of the day isn’t ideal for you, please book a 20 minute consultation to chat about an alternative arrangement.

  • This service is available for anyone who is using Squarespace as their website platform. If you aren’t sure what you are using, please contact me and I can do some digging. 

  • If you think your list or needs are comprehensive, book a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs and decide if one day is sufficient or if more support might be needed.

  • You will need to be available during the day to provide feedback. During the day, we will communicate using an instant messaging app like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.

  • Upon booking your day, you’ll receive a workbook where you can prioritize your list. We will then go through the list during our strategy meeting and discuss in more detail what I will need from you prior to the day. All copy, images, fonts, logos, and graphics must be provided prior to the design intensive.

  • Yes! You will receive complimentary 30 day email support after our day together to answer questions related to the work we accomplished. If you’d like to receive additional support in the form of training or detailed documentation, we can work together on an hourly basis. 

  • Due to having a limited number of spots for Design Intensives, refunds are not available. You are able to reschedule up to 7 days prior to the date and can rebook within 90 days.
